Privacy Policy

KLICK NRI is a brand of KLICK NOVA CONNECT [legal suffix, e.g. Private Limited / LLP], [registration number], registered office at BLK 57 Pasir Ris Drive 1, Singapore ("KLICK NRI", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through klicknri.com, our WhatsApp channels, email and video meetings, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

We are a referrer and introducer only. We introduce clients, through an authorised direct selling agent (DSA) of the lenders, to RBI-regulated banks, housing finance companies and NBFCs. We are not a lender, and we do not sanction, price, underwrite, disburse or service any loan. Lenders make their own credit decisions and handle your data under their own privacy policies once you are introduced to them.

1. Who to contact about your data

Data Protection Officer / Grievance Officer: [Name], [designation] Email: [privacy@klicknri.com or connect@klicknri.com] · Phone: [+91 number] · Address: BLK 57 Pasir Ris Drive 1, Singapore

You can contact this person with any question about how we handle your data, to exercise your rights, or to raise a complaint. We include these details in every reply we send to a data request.

2. What we collect, and when

We only ask for what we need for the purpose shown next to each form.

Servicing Team callback Phone or WhatsApp number, best time to call, topic To call you back

Cookies and analytics Device and browser data, pages viewed, approximate location, referral source, campaign tags To run the site and, if you accept, to measure and improve it (see section 11)

With every form we also record the date and time you submitted it, the form, and the exact version of the consent notice shown above the submit button, so we can show what you agreed to.

We do not use the eligibility check to make any credit decision. Only lenders decide.

We process the personal data you give us through a form on the basis of the consent you give by submitting that form. A short notice directly above each submit button explains the purpose: to respond to your request and, where needed to fulfil it, to share your details with our authorised DSA, our partner banks, financial institutions and other third parties. We also rely on the fact that you voluntarily provided the data for that specified purpose and have not told us you object (Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, section 7(a)). We use the data only for the purpose you gave it for.

Marketing is always opt-in. We send rate updates, offers and NRI guides only if you tick the separate, optional box offered on some forms. Submitting a form without ticking it does not sign you up for marketing.

We may also process data where Indian law requires it, for example to comply with a law, court order or regulator's request. [Counsel to confirm the legitimate uses relied on.]

4. How we use your data

  • To answer your enquiry, calculate your estimate and email it to you
  • To contact you by phone, email or WhatsApp about your request
  • To match you with lending partners whose policies fit your country, income and loan, and introduce you, through our authorised DSA, to the lender(s) you choose
  • To arrange document pickup, attestation and courier
  • To keep records required by law, by our agreements with lenders, or to deal with complaints and legal claims
  • To protect the site from fraud and misuse
  • Only if you tick the optional marketing box: to send you rate updates, offers and NRI guides by WhatsApp and email. You can say no to this and still use our services.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Who we share it with

  • our authorised DSA, our authorised direct selling agent, through which we introduce you to lenders.
  • Partner banks, housing finance companies, NBFCs and other financial institutions that you choose to approach. We share your details and documents only with the lender(s) you agree to approach. The lender then becomes responsible for your data under its own policy. The list of lenders we work with is on our Lending Partners page.
  • Service providers who process data for us under contract and only on our instructions: Google (Google Workspace for email, Calendar, Meet and lead records, and Google Analytics if you accept analytics cookies), Cloudflare (website hosting and security), WhatsApp (Meta) and [WhatsApp Business API provider], [email sending service], [CRM, if used], courier and attestation agents in Singapore and Dubai, and our professional advisers.
  • Referral partners. If a partner referred you, we may tell them whether your case has completed, so we can pay their referral fee. We do not share your financial details with them.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside India

Some of our service providers store or process data outside India (for example [Google and the hosting provider's data regions]). Indian law allows transfers outside India unless the Government restricts transfers to a particular country. We will follow any such restriction and use providers that protect your data under contract. [To confirm with counsel: where the RBI Digital Lending Directions 2025 apply to us, loan-related data must be stored on servers in India. See REVIEW-NOTES.]

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become a loan: we delete or anonymise them [12 months] after our last contact with you, but not earlier than one year after we processed the data, because Indian rules require that minimum.
  • Clients whose loan proceeds: for the period our lender agreements and applicable law require, currently [X years after disbursement or closure].
  • Consent records: for as long as we hold the related data, plus [X years] so we can prove consent.
  • Marketing preferences: we keep a record that you opted out, so we do not contact you again.

8. How we protect it

We use encryption in transit and at rest provided by our platforms, two-factor login, access limited to named staff who need it, logged exports, daily backups, spam and bot protection on forms, and contracts requiring our providers to protect your data. We keep access logs for at least one year. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Access: give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with
  • Correct and update: fix or complete inaccurate data
  • Erase: delete your data, unless we must keep it to finish what you asked for or to comply with law
  • Withdraw consent: at any time (see section 10)
  • Nominate: name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act
  • Grievance: complain to our Grievance Officer. We will reply within [30] days and in any case within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once its complaint process is available to you.

To use these rights, email [privacy@klicknri.com] from the email address or WhatsApp number you gave us, or write to the address in section 1. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to connect@klicknri.com. For marketing, you can also reply STOP on WhatsApp or click "unsubscribe" in any email. Once you withdraw, we stop processing your data for that purpose within [7] days, and we tell our authorised DSA and any lender we introduced you to.

Withdrawing consent does not affect what we lawfully did before. If you withdraw consent while a loan request is in progress, we will not be able to continue with the introduction, and you will need to deal with the lender directly. Data you have already given to a lender is held by that lender under its policy; ask the lender directly to stop using it.

11. Cookies

We use:

  • Essential cookies, needed for the site and forms to work and to protect against spam. These are always on.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager) [and Microsoft Clarity, if used], to understand how the site is used. These load only if you click "Accept".
  • Marketing cookies [e.g. Meta Pixel, if used], to measure our ads. These load only if you click "Accept".

You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. We set analytics to remove query strings from WhatsApp links so your details are not sent to analytics.

12. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. For education loans, the parent or guardian should contact us; if the student is under 18 we will ask for the parent's or guardian's verifiable consent before collecting the student's data.

13. If you live outside India

We serve NRIs in several countries. Where the law of the country you live in gives you additional rights, for example Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, the UAE's Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on personal data protection, or the UK GDPR, we will honour them. [Counsel to confirm local requirements, including Singapore Do Not Call rules for marketing messages to Singapore numbers.]

14. Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page with a new date. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you and, where needed, ask for your consent again.
